TV actor Jaya Bhattacharya saves puppy from brutal abuse in Naigaon, demands justice

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress Jaya Bhattacharya runs an NGO named Thank You Earth, which specialises in the rescue and treatment of animals in need. She recently rescued a 1.5-month-old puppy over the weekend from the Naigaon suburb of Mumbai. The actress revealed that the puppy was brutally raped by a man, and despite registering an FIR, the culprit was spared by the cops.

In a viral video, Jaya can be seen cradling the puppy in her arms. She revealed that the 1.5-month-old puppy was repeatedly raped in the Tivari Gaon area of Naigaon. She said, “We filed an FIR; cops caught the man, but he was later released on bail. Now we are waiting and wondering how do we get justice for this puppy.”

Jaya also shared an update on her social media and revealed that the one-and-a-half-month-old male puppy was repeatedly raped by a boy in Naigon. She filed an FIR was registered, and the boy was even caught, only to be released after some time.

Requesting justice for the poor animal, Bhattacharya said, “Hame nyaay kaise milega? Ye sirf is jaanwar ki baat nahi hai, ye un sahi mukh praniyo ki baat hai. Chahe wo insaan kabaccha ho. Wo bacche bol nahi sakte. Sabhi ke lie justice chaiye”. (Whether it’s an animal or a small human baby who cannot speak, we must seek justice for all subjected to such heinous crimes).

The official Instagram account posted a video of VJay, the puppy, along with an update on the animal’s condition. They reported that VJay experienced severe pain when urinating and that his internal organs were impacted. Additionally, they claimed that acupuncture had relieved the agony of the wretched animals.
